We developed a custom bike physics system to achieve very tight and fun controls while still incorporating the feeling of driving a downhill bike through rough terrain.
Ride all the way down from the top of the mountain to the valley in one seamless ride with no loading times. Play it safe and follow the trail or take the risk and go cross-country to find the fastest way down. Take your bike all over the world. Ride along quiet mountain lakes, majestic forests or steep canyons. Explore the mountains to find secret locations and unlock new skins and gear. Experience a beautiful nature untouched by men. No audience, no barrier tapes – just you and your bike (and some bears but it’s better to stay away from them) We advise that you try not to crash but if you do at least it will look cool (and painful).

We’re both making games professionally for nearly 10 years now and Lonely Mountains: Downhill will be our third commercial game with our own studio. We also partnered up once again with Martin Wiese for the audio design. The game is in a pre-alpha state with lots of work still ahead of us - so we aim to release the game in early/mid 2018 for PC (Win/Mac).
